Where are your pieces made?
I make everything right here, in Sydney, Australia, where I call home.
How do these journals work?
My journals are refillable. It consists of a reusable, durable outer cover, made of leather, and elastic cords running down the centre of the spine, using which you can swap paper inserts as and when you fill the pages of the individual notebooks.
When you fill the pages, you keep the outer cover and simply replace the internal notebook, making it a sustainable, long-lasting, and cost-effective alternative to buying brand-new books.
Does the cover come with notebook inserts?
Each cover comes with 1 insert. You are welcome to purchase more from my website.

What leather do you use?
I use full grain leather, vegetable tanned from Italian tanneries. These are high-quality, durable leathers that age wonderfully.
Upon request, I can also source Australian leather, for a more cost effective option. If this is something you'd like, Contact Us.
Is the leather perfect?
No, and that is what makes it unique. Vegetable tanning keeps natural details like color shifts, light striations, small scars, and unique grain. These are normal and make each piece one of a kind, and will be even more unique as it develops a patina over time.
Patina is the soft sheen and deeper tone that builds with time, light, and the oils from your hands. Your piece will slowly grow richer and more personal.
How do I care for my leather?
Leather Care: Wipe gently with a clean, dry cloth. If desired, apply a touch of leather balm with a soft cloth, let it absorb, then lightly buff. Avoid water, harsh cleaners (alcohol or solvents), and direct heat. If it gets wet, blot and let it air dry naturally.
Eyelet Care: Brass eyelets with a colored finish may naturally patina with time and touch. To brighten, gently polish with a cotton swab and a brass cleaner, avoiding contact with the leather.
What clay do you work with?
I work with terracotta and earthenware clays, and will be working with some porcelain and stoneware for upcoming collections.
Do you accept custom requests?
Absolutely! I accept custom order requests for my journals, whether it is a specific size or if you're after a colour that I don't usually stock. I also accept custom requests for pottery!
